USDA Organic Certified

USDA Organic is a labeling term that indicates that the food or other agricultural product has been produced through approved methods that integrate cultural, biological, and mechanical practices that foster cycling of resources, promote ecological balance, and conserve biodiversity. Synthetic fertilizers, sewage sludge, irradiation, and genetic engineering may not be used.

Certified Vegan

Certified Vegan has certified hundreds of vegan products with our logo through our Vegan Certification, introducing humane organizations to veganism with our Humane Outreach Campaign, bringing vegan food ino public and private facilities nationwide and sharing the compelling ideas behind veganism with thousands of people.

Chicago Rabbinical Council

Chicago Rabbinical Council (CRC) is the largest regional Orthodox organization in North America. The CRC is a not-for-profit offering a wide variety of Jewish services including kosher product supervision and kosher certification (kosher approval for products).

Green America

Green America (Co-Op America) has a mission to harness economic power- the strength of consumers, investors, businesses, and the marketplace- to create a socially just and environmentally sustainable society.

Test Pledge

Test Pledge alleviates concerns by consumers that eating hemp nut (the inner 'nut' that remains after the seed shell is removed) or hemp oil products may cause confirmed positive drug tests for marijuana. TestPledge also dispels concerns regarding hemp oil bodycare products topically applied on the skin. Pledge companies commit to implement quality control measures which limit the amount of trace residual THC in hemp nut and oil, thus eliminating the risk of a confirmed positive drug test.


EcoCert ICO began offering organic certification in 1995 and was one of the first certification agencies to be accredited by the National Organic Program. Foods Alive obtained organic certification from ICO in 2002. In 2010, ICO was purchased by EcoCert, a well-known certification body, which is in more than 80 countries.


Cornucopia Institute

Cornucopia Institute is engaged in educational activities supporting the ecological principles and economic wisdom underlying sustainable and organic agriculture. Through research and investigations on agricultural issues, The Cornucopia Institute will provide needed information to consumers, family farmers, and the media.

Green People
Green People has a mission to help consumers and green businesses connect. Their goal is to help consumers find green, eco-friendly and healthy products and services.

Organic Consumers Association

Organic Consumers Association is an online and grassroots organization campaigning for health, justice, and sustainability. The OCA deals with crucial issues of food safety, industrial agriculture, genetic engineering, children's health, corporate accountability, Fair Trade, environmental sustainability and other key topics.

Vote Hemp

Vote Hemp is a national, single-issure, nonprofit organization dedicated to the acceptance of and free market for industrial hemp, low-THC oilseed and fiber varieties of Cannabis, and to change the current law to allow U.S. farmers to grow the crop. Their ultimate goal is to have hemp grown on a commercial scale in the U.S. once again and for the crop to be able to be processed here as well.

Organic Seed Growers and Trade AssociationOrganic Seed Growers and Trade Association (OSGATA) is a national non-profit organization committed to protecting, promoting, and developing the organic seed trade and it's growers, thereby assuring that the organic community has access to excellent quality organic seed, free of contaminants and adapted to the diverse needs of organic agriculture.

Organic Trade AssociationOrganic Trade Association (OTA) is the membership-based business association for the organic industry in North America. OTA's mission is to promote and protect organic trade to benefit the environment, farmers, the public, and the economy.

Hemp Industries Association

Hemp Industries Association (HIA) is striving to represent the interests of the hemp industry and to encourage the research and development of new products made from industrial hemp, low-THC oilseed and fiber varietis of Cannabis.

Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund

Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF) protects the rights of the nation's family farms, artisan food producers, consumers and affiliate communities to engage in direct commerce free of harassment by federal, state and local government interference; it protects the rights of farmers and artisanal producers to make their products available and the rights of consumers to access the foods of their choice from the source of their choice.
